Mathematics is considered the language of science; it can be applied in numerous aspects of
life and plays an essential role in our day-to-day activities. However, numbers scare people;
their additions and subtractions are a nightmare to most, but people who love mathematics
also exist; for them, math ain't confusing; they can spend their whole day doing math. Even
after the love and hatred towards mathematics, it is one of the most essential subjects studied
by everyone in school.
It helps us figure out patterns, it helps us understand more easily how things operate, and it
helps us in building reasoning and problem-solving skills. It helps in making financial
decisions, shopping at the most effective pricing, cooking delectable meals etc. Apps and
software cannot be programmed without maths. Athletes cannot time themselves without
mathematics. The doctor wouldn't know the amount of medicine to be prescribed to the
patient without mathematics, and birthdays would not be remembered.
Now, all that must have sounded pretty valuable, right? So now, why shouldn't maths scare
you? We'll help you figure that out. First of all, you need not run away from the subject. The
more you get scared by it, the more it will try to scare you (somewhat like what ghosts do in
movies). So, you must remain calm and try to make friends with it (I mean, not literally, but
just try to not get frustrated and believe in yourself). Don't get frustrated and give up. If you
aren't getting any sums right at all, take a break, go for a walk, and eat good food. Then,
practise it regularly and try a variety of questions. If you make any mistakes, try to know
where you went wrong and learn the concept rightly. Well, that is how you can easily be
sheltered from all the bombs maths drops on you by following the tips mentioned above.
